Yoyoyoyo. This is Coach Hale coming at ya with your favorite time of the week. That’s right, it’s the sports report.
It was a historic week for the girls’ soccer program. Thursday, the girls defeated SAHS for the first time in school history, 3-1. This puts our girls’ team at the top of the first division of KAIAC. What an incredible season it has been for our girls. June Sohn had a hat trick in the match, scoring all three goals.
The boys lost a high-scoring affair against the SAHS guys team. The match seesawed back and forth for the entire match. The final scored ended up 5-8 in the hard-fought match.
This week the soccer teams travel to TCIS on Wednesday for their final match of the season. Also, the KAIAC tournament takes place this weekend. The girls will be at SAHS and the boys will be at TCIS again.
The KAIAC swimming championships will be held this weekend as well at the YISS pool. Come out and cheer on the swimmers.
