The boys also came away with wins against all three of the American schools last week, putting their overall record at 8-3-1 for the season. Hope to see you there!
The swimming team was also in action last week at Chadwick International. Out of the 10 teams, YISS boys took 4th place, the girls took 2nd place, and combined the team took 3rd overall. For the season, the boys finished 4th, girls 3rd and combined 3rd. Great season for Guardian Swimming.
Special congratulations to Elaina Brower, who etched her name into YISS swimming history by breaking the longest standing swim record at YISS. She broke Anna Casto’s 50 meter fly record from 2008, with a time of 34.84!
The swim team has one more friendly competition April 16th before the KAIAC Championships that will be held here at YISS on April 25-26. Come out and cheer on your Guardian swimmers!
